Blugold Cross Country Teams Ranked in National Preseason Poll

The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's cross country teams are ranked nationally, according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Top 35 Preseason Poll.

The Blugold women are ranked 14th nationally while the men are 35th.

In the Midwest Region, the women are second and the men are ninth.

Blugold Outdoor Track & Field Teams Ranked in Top 10

The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's outdoor track & field teams are ranked in the top 10 nationally, according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's final rankings before the NCAA Division III Championships.

The Blugold men are No. 5 in the latest rankings while the women are ninth, up two spots from last week.

In the Midwest regional rankings, the women are fourth while the men are fifth.

Outdoor Track & Field Teams Ranked High Nationally

The Blugold men are ranked fifth, up one spot from last week, while the women are 11th, down three spots from a week ago.

In the region, the women are fourth while the men are fifth.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field Moves up in National Rankings

The UW-Eau Claire men's outdoor track & field team moved up three spots to No. 6 in the week five U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top 25 rankings.

The Blugold men are also ranked fifth in the region as are the women.

This weekend, the Blugolds will compete at the WIAC Outdoor Championships at UW-Whitewater May 4-5.

Softball Back in NFCA Top 25 Poll

The UW-Eau Claire softball team is ranked No. 22 according to the week 11 National Fastpitch Coaches Association top 25 poll.

The Blugolds last appeared in the week 5 rankings, announced March 21, at No. 14.

Eau Claire is currently on a 14-game winning streak and hosts the six-team WIAC Tournament, which is set to be contested May 4-6.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field Moves up in National Rankings

The UW-Eau Claire men's outdoor track & field team moved up two spots in the week four U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings.

The Blugold men are now ranked ninth, moving up from No. 11 a week ago. The women, who were ranked fourth last week, dropped out of this week's top 25 rankings.

Regionally, the Blugold women are fifth while the men are sixth.
