Outdoor Track & Field Teams Ranked High Nationally


The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's outdoor track & field teams are ranked high nationally, according to the week seven U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top 25 rankings.

The Blugold men are ranked fifth, up one spot from last week, while the women are 11th, down three spots from a week ago.

In the region, the women are fourth while the men are fifth.

    That's awesome for UW-Eau Claire! Track and field is such a demanding sport, and it's great to see their athletes getting recognized for their hard work. It reminds me of when I was in high school. We weren't nationally ranked, but the thrill of competition was the same. Speaking of competition and adrenaline, I've been looking for a good online driving game lately to play on my computer. Have you guys ever heard of Drift Hunters? I think some people may really find it fun.
