The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's outdoor track & field teams are ranked high nationally, according to the week seven U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top 25 rankings.
The Blugold men are ranked fifth, up one spot from last week, while the women are 11th, down three spots from a week ago.
In the region, the women are fourth while the men are fifth.

It reminds me of when I was in high school. We weren't nationally ranked, but the thrill of competition was the same.
