Women's Golf Ranked Third in Final Fall Poll

The UW-Eau Claire women’s golf team is ranked third according to the fall's final Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches’ Poll.

The Blugolds, ranked second in the October 1 poll, most recently won the WIAC title. It was their second consecutive conference title.

Women's Golf Ranked Second in Nation

The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is ranked second according to the second Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches' Poll of 2010.

The No. 2 ranking ties for the highest in program history. The team received a No. 2 ranking last fall and maintained it until late in the spring. In the first poll this season, the Blugolds found themselves at No. 3.

Women's Golf Will Open Season Ranked Third in Nation

The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team will open the season Saturday ranked third in the nation, according to the preseason Golf World/NGCA Coaches' Poll. The Blugolds picked up one first-place vote in the poll as well.

Wagner competes in national event

Catherine WagnerAustin High graduate Catherine Wagner is a member of the women's golf team at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Wagner will be a sophomore for the Blugolds this fall.

She recently was selected to play in the First Annual Hooters Women's Collegiate Team Championship, presented by the National Golf Coaches Assocation. Wagner's teammate, Katie Maurer, also was selected to play in the event.
