Cross Country Teams Move up in National Rankings


The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's cross country teams have moved up in the latest national rankings from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

In the week three rankings, the Blugold women are 13th, up one spot from the previous week, while the men jumped three spots to No. 30.

In the region, the women are second and the men are eighth.

  3. BYU's recent performances, including a strong showing at the Nuttycombe Invitational, Chill Guy Clicker have propelled them to the top spot. NAU and Colorado have also demonstrated consistent excellence, maintaining their positions among the elite. Stanford and Oregon's recent meet victories have contributed to their rise in the rankings.
