The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey team is ranked 14th according to the latest USCHO.com top 15 poll.The Blugolds made it into the rankings after defeating No. 13 UW-Stout this past weekend twice. For the season, the Blugolds have won six games against ranked opponents.
The last time the Blugolds were ranked was January 26, 2009, also at No. 14. The highest ranking the Blugolds acheived in the 2008-09 season was ninth on November 17, 2008.
