Men's Hockey Remains Sixth and Seventh in National Polls

The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey team remained sixth in the USCHO.com and seventh in the D3hockey.com national rankings, which were released Jan. 21.

The Blugolds are currently 14-3-2 on the season and 9-2-1 in the NCHA, tied for first place with St. Norbert College. The two teams will face each other Friday in Hobbs Ice Center.

Men's Hockey Ranked Sixth and Seventh Nationally

The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey team is ranked sixth in the USCHO.com top 15 poll and seventh in the D3hockey.com top 15 poll, according to the Jan. 14 rankings.

The Blugolds head into the weekend with a record of 12-3-2. After more than a month without a conference game, the Blugolds will get back to NCHA play when they host UW-Superior for a two-game series Friday and Saturday at Hobbs Ice Center.

Men's Indoor Track & Field Seventh in Preseason Rankings

The UW-Eau Claire men's indoor track & field team is ranked seventh according to the preseason U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Top 25 computer rankings, announced January 9.

The Blugolds will hold an Alumni/Open meet January 12 and will kick off the regular season by hosting a triangular January 19.
