Softball Moves up in NFCA Poll

The UW-Eau Claire softball team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the March 21 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.

The No. 14 ranking ties for the Blugolds' highest this season as they were also 14th two weeks ago.

The Blugolds currently are 6-2 on the season.

Softball No. 15 in March 14 NFCA Poll

The UW-Eau Claire softball team is ranked 15th in the March 14 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 poll.

The Blugolds opened the season ranked 23rd, then jumped to No. 17 after winning two games. Since then, while the Blugolds are still 2-0, they moved to No. 14 in the third poll and are now 15th.

Coming up, the Blugolds will play 10 games March 18-23 in Florida for Spring Break.

Pre-NCAA Indoor Track & Field Rankings Announced

The final rankings from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association prior to the NCAA Division III Championships were announced Monday.

The Blugold men are at No. 5 in the national rankings while the women are ranked 13th.

In the region, the Blugold men are fifth while the women are fourth.
