Men's Hockey Moves Back in to USCHO.com Poll

The UW-Eau Claire men’s hockey team is ranked No. 15 according to the USCHO.com Top 15 poll, announced Nov. 28.

The Blugolds, who were last in the Nov. 14 poll at No. 14, dropped out of last week’s rankings after losing twice to St. Norbert College, which was ranked No. 8 at the time.

This past weekend, the Blugolds won the Adrian Thanksgiving Tournament, defeating fourth-ranked Adrian College on Saturday.

Women's Cross Country Ninth in National Poll

The UW-Eau Claire women's cross country team is ranked No. 9 according to the week nine U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top 35 poll.

The Blugolds will compete Saturday at the 2011 NCAA Championship, which will take place in Winneconne, Wis. at Lake Breeze Golf Course.

Last year, the Blugolds finished fourth at nationals while winning the national title in 2009.

Men's Hockey Moves up in National Rankings

The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the latest USCHO.com poll.

After splitting with St. Scholastica this weekend, the Blugolds now hold a 4-2 overall record. They will host eighth-ranked St. Norbert College twice this weekend.

Men's Hockey Ranked in Nov. 7 National Poll

The UW-Eau Claire men’s hockey team is ranked No. 15 according to the November 7 rankings released by USCHO.com.

The Blugolds, who received votes in the season’s first USCHO.com poll, previously appeared in the rankings at No. 14 on December 6, 2010.

Cross Country Teams Continue to be Nationally Ranked

The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's cross country teams are nationally ranked in the week eight U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) top 35 poll.

The Blugold women are ranked seventh nationally while being second regionally.

The men hold a national ranking of No. 34 while being 10th in the region.
