Cross Country Teams Nationally Ranked

Both the UW-Eau Claire men's and women's cross country teams are ranked in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top 35 poll.

The Blugold men jumped into the poll for the first time this season at No. 35. They are ranked 10th in the Midwest region rankings.

On the women's side, the Blugolds are tied for fifth. In the Midwest region, Eau Claire is No. 2.

Events are negotiable for alumni, but Blugold teams will run a format as follows: 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free, 200/100 IM, 50 Free, Diving (1 and 3 Meter), 100/50 Fly, 100Free, 500 Free, 100/50 Backstroke, 100/50 breastroke, 200 Free Relay

Women's Golf Tied for Sixth in Latest Poll

The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is currently tied for sixth place in the October 3 Golf World/NGCA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

Eau Claire was ranked sixth at the last rankings and is now tied with Illinois Wesleyan University, which fell two spots since the last poll.

The Blugolds have done well so far this season, finishing no lower than fifth place at each of the four tournaments where they competed.

The women are ranked third according to the poll while the men were just outside the top 35 but received 11 votes.

In regional rankings, the women are second while the men are ninth.
