Blugold Men's Hockey Heads into Break Ranked Third & Fifth

The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey team completed the first half of its season with an 11-2-1 record and is now ranked third in the Dec. 10 USCHO.com Top 15 Poll and fifth in the D3hockey.com Top 15 Poll.

This past weekend, the Blugolds split with UW-River Falls, winning 5-1 Friday but falling 2-1 Saturday.

Eau Claire will have some time off now and will next compete at home on January 4 against Saint John's University (Minn.).

Blugold Men's Hockey Remains in Top Four Nationally

In the December 3 rankings, the UW-Eau Claire men’s hockey team stayed the same in one poll while dropping one spot in the other.

The Blugolds are ranked third in the latest USCHO.com Top 15 poll and fourth in the newest D3hockey.com Top 15 poll.

A week ago, the Blugolds were third in both polls but lost their first game of the season this weekend as they split with UW-Stevens Point. Eau Claire is now 10-1-1 on the season.
